- The BAYOU is wear-resistant, weather-resistant, and durable.
- Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of corten steel takes about 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
- Please note these have a European plug and come with UK adapters to plug in.
Key points of interest
- Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent any moisture between the packaging and the product from being trapped. This can cause irregular rust spots.
- We do not recommend corten steel within a 2 km radius of a coastline.
- During the rusting process, rust water may come off the product.
- The warranty is void if drilling or grinding is done in a non-prescribed manner.
- Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium are added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material is covered with a protective rust layer. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. As a result, corten steel products have a long lifespan.
Delivery & Returns
We offer free delivery on all orders to most areas of the UK mainland only. Additional charges may apply for deliveries to some areas of Scotland, Wales, Devon and Cornwall, please check before ordering. UK mainland shipping excludes Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
Delivery is usually within 7-14 days, during high demand periods some items could have a longer lead time. Please feel free to email us to request a more accurate timescale.
Deliveries are kerbside only. You must be present for offloading. If you are not present to receive the delivery, a redelivery charge will apply. Items longer than 2.3m will be delivered on a curtain-sided lorry. For all products longer than 2.3 metres or with a diameter of 2 metres or more, the customer is responsible for unloading from the vehicle at the point of delivery, this means a forklift-truck to unload the goods. Our courier does not have the possibility to unload these goods.
The address must be accessible with a large lorry of 13.6 metres. If there is likely to be a problem with access please contact us in advance of placing your order.
RETURNS
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. You are responsible for the cost of returning any item, this is non-refundable. Made-to-order products are not eligible for return or exchange. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
