The finish will start to develop a beautifully unique orange and brown patina in a matter of weeks. This will continue to develop over a period 6 to 12 months. The speed of weathering process depends on factors such as Weather, Climate, and Proximity the coast/ sea spray etc. The product can be delivered in any stage of the patina process from raw steel to a fully developed patina.

Corten Steel Maintenance Advice

Corten steel develops its protective patina through natural wet-and-dry cycles; when used as a water feature, the surface below the waterline may not develop a patinate evenly, and the water can become rusty or discoloured over time—regular emptying and refilling is recommended to maintain appearance and hygiene due to leaves, insects, and bird activity.

We offer free delivery on all orders to most areas of the UK mainland only.  Additional charges may apply for deliveries to some areas of Scotland, Wales, Devon and Cornwall, please check before ordering.  UK mainland shipping excludes Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Delivery is usually within 2-3 weeks, during high demand periods some items could have a longer lead time.  Please feel free to email us to request a more accurate timescale.

Deliveries are kerbside only. You must be present for offloading. If you are not present to receive the delivery, a redelivery charge will apply.  Items longer than 2.3m will be delivered on a curtain-sided lorry. For all products longer than 2.3 metres or with a diameter of 2 metres or more, the customer is responsible for unloading from the vehicle at the point of delivery, this means a forklift-truck to unload the goods. Our courier does not have the possibility to unload these goods.

The address must be accessible with a large lorry of 13.6 metres.  If there is likely to be a problem with access please contact us in advance of placing your order.

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. You are responsible for the cost of returning any item, this is non-refundable. Made-to-order products are not eligible for return or exchange. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
